Spezza is the obvious choice for the short term.

Spezza is certainly the better player right now, but for fantasy I think it depends a bit on the way it's set up. If position matters like in a yahoo pool, the fact Seguin's listed as a C/RW I think makes him more valuable imo, considering most categories should be similar except Spezza will likely have an assist and PP point advantage and Seguin a +/- advantage. Straight point though, it'd be Spezza

Spezza now, as long as its not a keeper league -- as that would make me at least sit and think about it.
One year, and that's all that matters... Spezza easily.

Seguin is younger, a proven winner, paid less.
Yeah, I'll take him over Spezza.
Hell, right now I take Kyle Turris over Spezza...

This does not make Seguin a better fantasy option. Spezza will be potting more points this season and the next few to come.

Not sure if serious.
Sure, seguin is a lot younger and is still improving, but it would take some crazy year for spezza not to be at or near a point a game, and would take another big step forward for seguin.
Seguins best year is significantly worse then spezzas worse year in the last several years.
This poll is a year or 2 too early imo.

Really??
I am shocked Seguin has votes.
Not that I'm saying Seguin is a bad player. But in case of the fantasy world, you generally choose your #1 center who is a clear cut PPG player. Over a guy who will likely be that in a few years.
If this was a matter of going forward, it would be a totally different story.

yes but here is the rub, nobody takes anything you say about Spezza seriously. You have ZERO credibility on the subject.
Your post history on the Sens board is a revelation of crazy spezza hatred to the point of weirdness.
