I'd love to see Kadri score 20 goals which is pretty crazy for a 48 game season but it'd be awesome.

Just realized 20 goals is a 34.2 goal pace over 82 games. Players can sometimes score in bunches though so it will be interesting to see how many people can get that many. Only a little over a dozen players scored more than 34 last year, probably about 2 dozen or so players scored on pace for 34+. Will be interesting to see how many score for that pace this year.

I see him scoring more than 10, even if it is a short season. Maybe 15-20. Sort of high for a 48 game season, but would be sweet if he does.

Exactly. I mean, players can get hot for 10-20 games and that's a lot of the season. Heck, even Daniel Winnik has 4 goals this season.

Left for volleyball with 6 minutes left in the game .. Glad to see Kadri scored

I like Carlyle's comments, the effort was definitely there but the execution wasn't quite where it needed to be .. That plus the outstanding goaltending from Miller got the Sabres the win

I can already see that this team isn't like the others I've seen in the last several years, I see a team that will compete for the playoffs this season .. Just needs some time to click, but if they can grind out some W's while they get all the rust off that will be the difference between making it and not

Was by far the best part of the game. Apparently you are bad luck, don't watch wednesday's game please!

Scrivens .. He's been giving them a chance, and do you really want Reimer's first game to be against the Penguins (who have looked scary good to start the year)

Seeing as we play both Wednesday and Thurday this week I imagine they will each start 1 game. Scrivens hasn't screwed up yet in any way so I would give him the start on wednesday, he's earned it. But then give Reimer the start on thursday and assume that Scrivens will be the starter again on Saturday (although that can change with the games this week).

Yeah the boys have played well in front of Scrivens. No need to change.

Yeah, I left with 5 minutes left, and came back after the 2nd Lupul attempted goal went in.

I thought the online quiz for one of my classes was due at 9am Monday so I did it last night. Turns out it's not due until Tuesday at 9am. I'm not used to doing work this far in advance

By the way, if you guys want to see Jupiter tonight, look directly right of the moon. Amazing to think the largest planet in the solar system only shows as a speck in the night sky.

I know what you mean. I went to the corner store earlier tonight (which is only like 300ft away from my house) and by the time I got back home I couldn't feel my face and my ears were stinging. And it's even colder now.

I might see Jupiter, but I don't see constellations. Don't understand it.
