My health/anxiety says sweeps, but after watching the Cards magical run from 2 years ago, the journey is what makes it truly special. I'll take the 7 game series.

After seeing the Canucks lose series leads so many times, I say the fewer losses the better. Just make damn sure you don't let the other team back in the series.

Option 2. Would be more nerve wracking but would be worth it in the end.

I don't think my heart could handle four 7 game series. Too many ups and downs, too much cursing the coach and the praising the coach etc etc.

I've already seen the Bruins more or less do all 7-game series, so I'd like to see it from the other end of the spectrum.

The Rangers had enough game 7's last year. I'll take the 16-0.

My thoughts.

Having won 3 (or for the sake of the thread, 4) Game 7s definitely has it's benefits a few weeks after the run...

Seriously, how is this close? 6 and 7 game playoff series are complete nervous wrecks in the making. If it's the Hawks, I want as many clean sweeps, or near sweeps, as possible.

Now, if we're talking about other teams, bring on as many game 7s as possible!

Winning with no adversity gets boring. What's the point of watching something that's supposed to be entertaining if it's no longer entertaining? It'd be like watching some of the Tyson fights that were over in under 30 seconds...

So yeah; if I'm part of the team or its management, it's sweeps AINEC. You get less bumps/bruises and you get in the record books.

If I'm just part of the fanbase, four 7-game series wins AINEC. You get the ups and downs, the nervous tension, the jubilation when your guys pull it off, etc. It's not even comparable to a blowout in terms of entertainment value.

Either way, you get the cup... so I'll take either one

I gotta go for the sweeps. That would be amazing to watch something that would go down in history as the greatest playoff run, probably ever and something that everyone on HF currently would most likely never see again.

Sweep the playoffs. I'm still pissed we lost 4 games.

Having been through 92-93, I don't want to see game 7s.

I kind of want my team to be the best possible team ever, so probably would end up taking the 16-0 sweep.

But for pure entertainment value the 4 7 game series would be awesome and one of the most entertaining runs ever. I would enjoy it a lot more (and i would hate it a lot more, but that is the brilliance of Play-Offs. All the ups and downs).

But looking things in retrospective, my team won the 2002 cup (hypothetical) with 16-0 sweep. I would still be all over everyone's face about it. I would call it the best team ever and would not feel a bit shame.

Easily the game sevens. The best thing in hockey is a game seven, nothing beats that!

I enjoy close games a lot more than games where my team dominates completely, even though those are fun at times too!
