Nobody is blaming the players. We're blaming the way this team is put together and the direction management has taken to bring to ice a very mediocre product year after year.

The point is that fans deserve better.

BTW, still possible to get 6 side by side in reds against Florida... Ouch.

Not surprised, no one really cares about the Panthers

I wouldn't be surprised that that all remaining seats get bought by the team in the last hours and given away or something just to keep the ''sellout'' record alive.

Because the cost of not selling out hurts more than the cost of buying all empty seats since ticket prices are based on the perceived demand.

If demand is perceived to be diminishing by the public, not only does it hurt the ''hot ticket'' buzz factor but the organization will have to consider lowering prices......

I wonder if they get any walk-up sales on game day.

Scalpers might help out with that.

I don't blame the players either. I would take the money too.

That said, pre expansion, you (as gm) only had to be smarter and luckier than 5 other guys with worse grassroots inventory of players

I've been on HF for 9 years and while there are many great knowledgeable people on the forum, I find myself being more and more disappointed and angry at my own fanbase as time goes by. Great post.

Perhaps the Habs forum needs to be split in two, to better represent the motives of the 'fans'. It's like we fans of the team - who want them to do well no matter what - have to fight against the so called fans who want the team to fail. We loyal fans have to fight against 30 other fanbases - sort of a unique situation.

Tank nation? Sounds like a wannabe copy of laffs nation. Perhaps it's time to take the tank to THEIR board, 'fans'...

Yet you should ask yourself why you want it.

I hope it stays this way.

My wife went to her first Habs games, last season, and we were paying ~$200-225/ticket for first row in the whites. We were planning to go to a couple this season, once our daughter is >6 months.

The only reason I would ever to go to the Bell center again to watch hockey is with free tickets. I refuse to spend another cent on the NHL...ever. I am more than happy with the free parking in my driveway and a 46' HD TV to watch it on, and I can get a whole case of 24 for $22, instead of ONE BEER for $22.

If there are still many tickets available are they going to remove the 1 transaction per credit card limit? I've already bought tickets saturday, can I buy more?

They are calling for -37 with the wind chill factor. But, it must have to do with our terrible win loss record this season.

I don't see these prices on the Canadiens site.

Same here, but I wouldn't say 'never'. This applies to this season only. I won't spend a dime on any NHL article this season too.

lol tickets are actually starting to go pretty fast. Wonder if the team is buying them up to keep the streak alive?
