If the "player" is going to play tonight

1. KH needs to announce this signing ASAP
2. Player must already be in town3
3. Player must have been in talks with DRW before lockout ended, had interest from other teams, now is signing w Detroit.
4. Player better be ready to go TONIGHT

Why is this so hush hush? Its not like the Wings are picking out of a hat..or are they??!?!
Not necessarily, they just have to be somewhere in North America. The game's starting in 9 hours. Plenty of time to get the player to Detroit.

Maybe Jurcina? Isn't he a defensive D and a right handed shot?

Kubina is in Europe so I'm guessing it's not him, might be Campoli or jurcina

Could you imagine that if by some miracle Kenny convinced Lids to come back!, I was reading that apparently they have asked him a couple times already, maybe he caved. Highly doubt it but I'm still praying for it to happen, realistically anyone other than Lebda or Lilja would be good in my books.

I'm surprised it doesn't sound like they're going the Vandermeer route... Then again, it's the waivers, so you can't really gamble one that. Speaking of which: when would we find out if we picked up Vandermeer on waivers? Noon?

Here 3 realistic players the Wings might add..

1. Chris Campoli
2. Kent Huskins
3. Brett Clark

Lebda had his chance w the Wings...Only way I can see him coming back is b/c of his speed. He has great speed, makes decent outlet passes..Only negative thing is his actual Defense, LOL

Commie, no wayyyyyyyy

The Wings have had a chance to sign Vandermeer several times and have always passed, doubt it's him.

Are these actual rankings, and based on what exactly? The #3 guy on the list is a 41 y/o who just retired, and the #6 is Brett Lebda. I'd like to see how exactly these were compiled.

I always liked White in his Devils years, but I'm pretty certain he was SJ fans' favourite whipping boy last year. Maybe he could turn it around, he's still just 35, but lets just say I wouldn't be jumping for joy if that's who we pick up.
