there must be someone out there who wants one of Eller, Cole, Purcell, Gorges (or maybe even MaxPac) for a speedy sniper? They needn't be good at anything aside from skating and sniping (I have Zherdev on line 2 right now because I'm that desperate for snipers)

Are you looking for someone classified as a sniper, or just someone with good shooting/speed?

preferably both, but I'll settle for just the latter. If I move Eller I will need a capable 2nd line center in the deal (it can be a bigger deal). Willing to move most prospects/picks as well (especially Yannick Weber, who has pretty good offensive stats, I just hate him as a Habs fan)

Might aswell keep this going:

block updated.

Open to moving one of Stalberg or Simmonds, kind of pointless having one of them on my third line especially with Read capable of playing there.

Devils- Avs trade:

To Devils:
O'Reilly (83 ovr 4* Yellow)
Manning (83 ovr 3.5* Yellow)

To Avalanche:
Marleau (88 ovr)

Thanks to Avalanche for responding so quickly, and welcome O'Reilly and Manning! With Ekholm, and Schultz being injured, I really needed a Dman.

I think the rule technically says no player acquired via trade can be traded for 3 season. I don't know if that was implied to cover free agents or not also.

I think Free Agents should be one season. I don't like signing and flipping them, but I also don't think the same threshold should apply as trades.

Also, what's the rule about changing franchise players? Once every offseason? Once every other? I can't remember what we decided on there. Re-reading the rule, it seems there are no changes unless they are approved by Fuss (or fall into one of the two exceptions). But it seems like we should have some flexibility--like if Kikuts jumps for Pens to high 80s next year, he should go on the list, etc. Ditto me for kreider, I guess.

Goalie Controversy in New York?

H. Lundquist - 11 GP, 5-5-1-0, 2.77 GAA, .887 save pct, 1 shutout.
J. Missiaen - 6 GP, 3-1-0-1, 1.53 GAA, 920 save pct., 1 shutout

Confirmed. We'd love to thank Radar and Manning for their great services to this team. But we feel good this year and need that extra push. We believe Marleau is that push with his experience and skill set.

It should be a yr on multi year deals and none on a 1yr deal

As in, you can trade them anytime, or you can't trade them at all?

I'd be in favor of the latter.

Brandon Manning is a Flyers prospect in real life. He has been for 2 1/2 years.

For reasons beyond understanding, EA makes him come into the game as a free agent in season 2, and Colorado signed him. He's now 83 overall with 98 def. awareness.

In most newer leagues, the only team who is allowed to sign him is the Flyers because of how he develops and because he should be their property, but no one knew how he would develop in Bluth, so he ended up on Colorado.
