Hope you're right. If we get a big dump I'll be schlepping up to Gore this weekend.

Along Came Polly taught me that if youre at the urinal, and someone else is there and you just cant make it happen, lightly blow air down to the tip. works every time. or, alternatively, you can do a super complex math problem in your head. trust me, they both work.

So no one knows a way to get a free or cheaper Microsoft Office? Really don't want to pay the full price.

Do you have a college student email address? You can get it cheap if you do.

I was at Gore on Friday, conditions were pretty good on the lower half of the mountain, then it got a bit icy, and the summit had a lot of bare spots from the inversion a week ago. But if this storm happens, Gore probably wont get a ton of snow from it. Right now it looks like it's going to be more of a northern Virginia to Boston sort of storm. Next few model runs will be key, as the noon runs pulled the track further south (which would decrease the NJ and points north totals), so we'll have to see if it moves back north tonight/tomorrow.

Long-range guidance picked up another snow event for next week (low confidence at this point though).

LET IT SNOW!!!!
Hartford area. Yes, I expect to be right in the path of this one. I already know the Friday commute is going to be a *****.

Maybe not, the Canadian and EU models brought this storm way south with the Noon run today, which should make MA + CT snow-haters like yourself happy.

The next few runs tonight and tomorrow midday will probably tell the tale, but this one might wind up being one of those deals where a big surprise happens one way (total bust) or another (huge under-reported storm) and people end up screaming at their local weatherman, because there are multiple pieces of energy the models are trying to deal with, and it confuses them. Sort of like increasing the complexity for a juggler by adding more balls.
