He's in what his 2nd or 3rd franchise and the same questions continue to dog him about his compete level, lack of physical play.
I wouldn't want him for a 2nd rounder, let alone one of the isles top prospects.
Centers Brock Nelson, Strome, Cizikas all have better reps for working hard. I value them all more then Colborne.

Would be great to have him reunited with Johansen in Columbus. What would the Islanders want from CBJ?
Savard + A Mid Round Pick?

He spent 1 year with the Isles buried on the 4th line. Now, he's producing with the Sound Tigers and wants an opportunity to have a shot with the big club. He's obviously ticked off he wasn't called into camp and he showed that when the Sound Tigers scrimmaged the Isles before the season started by scoring and playing a heck of a game.
But he's 20 years old and didn't do well last year because no one is going to when he's buried on the 4th line. But just because he says "he wants a trade" doesn't mean anything. The Isles aren't giving up a top prospect after they've been all about rebuilding since the Muilbury era.
He's not going anywhere.

A young, potential star to replace the young, potential star the isles would be giving up.
No interest in several depth pieces.

So he doesn't want to play in the AHL for the Islanders but he would for St. Louis?

I would trade Chris Tanev and a 1st for him from the Canucks.
I really like Nino and I think he's worth overpaying for. Value-wise, I think its pretty fair.

What would Islanders fans be interested in from Pittsburgh?

There's chum in the water Crew, it'll be a feeding frenzy of terrible proposals trying to unload junk for him. No point in arguing all of them.

Subban isn't worth the $5m-$7m he's demanding.
Nino+Hamonic is a big overpayment. That 2nd doesn't come close to evening that proposal out.
Still, not as laughable as the Leblanc for Nino offer, that a Habs fan proposed.

Doubt he gets moved. Snow won't get full value for his former 5th oa. Plus why is he demanding a trade? Cause he's in the A? I doubt many teams would be willing to give him NHL game time after last season.

What, you mean paying him NHL money last year instead of sending him back to junior? Or burning off 2 years of his entry level deal by now?
Or do you mean how they killed his development...I mean, he is only top-5 in the AHL in goals as a 20 year old. Kid is done.

I think you're gonna have to temper your expectations a bit. It's going to be "project prospect for project prospect".

Anyway we won't trade Subban but how do you know he's demanding 7 million? He never asked for 7 million.

Well good for you.
I'm not offering him for a 2nd.

You had to expect that I mean alot of the Isles players are underrated, Hamonic being one of them.

Is 20 yr old Nino an impending ufa?
Then I don't think the stubborn Snow tempers his trade demands.
He's shown at the last 3-4 drafts, that if he's giving up a potential stud, he demands a potential stud back.

Wow everyone hates the Isles
He's probably unhappy because he's been poorly handled by the Islanders organization.

And you can't really blame him for that. They should have never brought him up in the 1st place, he was never ready

Isn't it weird when adults think they can do what they want?
