I can't imagine there will be a lot of teams clamoring for this guy right now. A 20-year-old who shouldn't have been in the NHL and played poorly, who hasn't even played a full season of hockey in the AHL, complaining about not being on the team? Unless it's a personal thing (Doesn't get along with Capuano, Snow, Weight etc.), I don't think teams will be a in big rush to get him. Think of Kyle Turris last year.
He has one point in 55 career NHL games and you are offering that? He isn't worth Tangradi at this point. I would offer a fourth rounder at best.
He still has a lot of potential and as a first round pick with lots of years to show his worth, it's going to take something decent to get him. We have a surplus of D prospects so it make sense to offer one up. Potentially offering a G prospect as well could work for a replacement for Nabokov as either a starter or backup.
What exactly has Lars Eller proven, outside of a 4-goal night against Winnipeg last year? A lot of potential, yes. Proven, not yet.
Well for starters, he has proven he can score at the NHL level, something Nino hasnt proven yet, and as a big center, isnt a bad option and has a bit more value then a prospect who hasnt proven anything in terms of playing in the NHL.
