Unless it's a personal thing (Doesn't get along with Capuano, Snow, Weight etc.), I don't think teams will be a in big rush to get him. Think of Kyle Turris last year.
He's unhappy he wasn't invited to training camp.Isles also didn't invite Brock Nelson or Donovan to training camp. Nino and Donovan are headed to the ahl all-star game.

Snow says he wants Nino playing 20+ mins a night at this point and he's better off in the AHL, getting those mins.

I wonder how quick Snow shoots down Nino and his agent.

What kind of overpayment would it take to get Hamonic along with Nino for the Kings? Do you guys need goaltending? Or is that taken care of by your two younger goalies in the minors for the future?

This news coming out a week after the trade request probably means Snow shot it down REALLY quick as expected. Leaking it to the media though, not happy it.

He could become that though. We currently have debate about the possibility of Beau Bennett playing with Sidney. If Nino is given this season and next in the AHL and is then moved up he could do a similar role on his other side.

Why would the Isles trade Hamonic? Can't you guys just accept that you already have Drew Doughty and Voynov.

Doughty.

Isles aren't looking for goaltending. They like the upside of Poulin/Nilson,

Isles aren't trading potential stars for depth.

2. BRIDGEPORT: With the addition of Steve Valiquette as the Islanders’ new goalie consultant, his expertise and mentoring skills will vastly benefit the behemoth and rock-solid tandem of Kevin Poulin and Anders Nilsson. Both guys are legitimate future NHL stars, and either one can be considered the “starter” on this team at any time.

Olsen + Morin or Pirri?

Isles get a young D prospect with NHL experience and either a LW prospect or C prospect with some NHL experience already under belt

Beach for Nino is actually a perfect trade.
So, by your logic, Josh Baiely is worth more than Alexander Galchenyuk. After all, Bailey is a big center, proven he can score at the NHL level, and Galchenyuk hasn't.

And I guess Nathan Beaulieu for Aaron Ness would be a good trade, prospect for prospect.

See, if you don't bother comparing the actual players, other than labeling them prospects vs. players, you end up speaking nonsense.

You are first offering a top D prospect and a high pick and tangradi for him based on potential? He isn't worth jack crap based on what he has shown. Potentially based on what he has shown - Tangradi and a fourth rounder ... nothing more. I think most people on this board haven't watched hockey. Alot of baseless ideas out there.

I'm sorry. The isles want Beach because???????
Neither have done anything in the NHL, both are huge question marks, and trying to guage value by AHL numbers is rough when you are looking at two different types of players.

Beach has also had a year off on account of injury last year, so age means really little also.

And the Isle would want Beach for the same reason the Hawks would want Nino, just to roll the dice on somebody else. Its not rocket science, and theres no difiniative proof that Nino would be better then Beach in the NHL. None what so ever.

Unless the isles think Pirri or Olsen are potential stars, Snow will imo pass.

He's shown in all his shopping at the draft, using his high lottery picks, that he wants quality for quality.

And Beach holds zero interest. Isles have younger forwards, who have done more at the nhl and ahl level then Beach.

Yeah, no. No way we trade our #1 goalie and two former first round picks (who still hold some value) for a 2nd/3rd line tweener, a prospect (who we have more than enough of) and a cap dump from your end.

Don't blame him, didn't even get an invite to camp while the teams goes out and picks up unwanted players from the waivers to fill in roster spots. Kind of pathetic how this organization has been run.

why not just use Bennett then? We wouldn't trade for someone like Nino to replace Tangradi when we have Bennett sitting in the AHL
