The guy is as dumb as a brick, I think he would have been canned with any other team by now.

after watching rangers on NESN and Root sports over the weekend, i can officially say root sports are far more bias and annoying than jack edwards. bob errey is a clown.

its not even close...

There's a difference between being homer and crazy.

Unfortunately, I believe Jack Edwards is both but hey, if Bruins fans like him who cares.

I'm pretty sure I do know what I'm talking about. Im really not sure how you can mix up the words "flopper" and "luongo" as you can clearly make out the "ngo" at the end of each chant...I think I would know what was happening considering I was at the game...

Do you ever have anything better to do? I see you in every single thread even remotely related to the Bruins trolling the fanbase. Relax, you hate them, its fine, no one needs to hear about it over and over and over....

Totally agree! The pens crew thinks every call that goes against them isnt a penalty and vise versa. Every game.

Oh damn you are so right. Look at all those bruins fans on the glass that actually saw it chant at that guy! Crazy. I mean its one thing if a group of dumb fans in the balcony starts a chant over something they didn't see, but these guys saw that!
Oh wait, that's not what happened.

Also, you should get over it already. You have like 15 minute videos about how bitter you are, and you show up in every thread that has a pinch of anti-bruins.

Homer? Maybe, though I'd say he's a bit more like Shakespeare.

I think what gets overlooked, amidst his dweeb-on-amphetamines persona, is how downright (dare I say it!) intelligent Edwards is. He's got a way with wordplay, metaphor, and quick leaps of the (loony) imagination that would be the envy of many a hip-hop freestylist (I can't vouch for his flow, though, I must admit). And he delivers it all with a maniacal glee that's as infectious for some as it is repellent for others.

Plus he once word-for-word ripped off from a post I made on HFBoards the night before, so he's got pretty good taste to boot.

Really? He's consistently known as one of the best.

It seems like the only people who can deal with Edwards are Bruins fans.

I think it's pretty obvious that was not the case, since your right I don't know how you can mix up the two.

But regardless, chanting anything while a guy is injured bad enough. Then to continue to chant when he is being carried off the ice is even worse.

People who don't like Jack do so because they take him a lot more serious than he takes himself.

People need to leave Jack alone, he's a great announcer and very fair. I don't get the hate.

He's by far the worst in the league, but Bruins fans love him. I just find it easier to always watch their opponents feed

A true biased announcer would call every save by every goaltender the greatest save ever to prove that his team's forwards were excellent shooters. Get inside Jack Edwards' head.

Hate is weird because a commentator shouldn't ever bring out such passionate negative responses in people, but comments expressing a dislike for his style are fair opinions, just like comments expressing a like for his style.

Jack's Jack. It's nothing new. Not my cup of tea, even when he did national games for ESPN/OLN/VERSUS that did not involve the Bruins, but whatever. We all know whether we like Jack or not within the first few minutes of seeing a NESN game and I don't know why the topic has to keep happening. HFBoards is not going to get him fired and HFBoards is not going to get NHLN or Center Ice to stop using NESN feeds. Likewise, me saying "I don't enjoy his commentary" doesn't make anyone else agree, so I'm wasting my time here but I also knew that, anyway.

YouTube some Dale Arnold calls for the alternative to anyone curious.

... No, it's because he's passionate about the game the loves.

I was parodying sensationalist opinions. I don't think Jack has an agenda where every word he says is carefully crafted to make the Bruins look better. The Bruins did plenty to look just fine Saturday night without Jack's assistance.
