I've decided I'm not going to say anything negative about Corvo tonight. Lets see how long I can last.
First shift. Possibly before that if Tripp does a pre-game interview with Joe and his ridiculous haircut makes it on air. Or if they recap the previous game...
"Well, the Canes got in penalty trouble in their last game, as evident by this Corvo penalty...and this Corvo penalty...and this..."

"... in all of which the blame can be placed on Pitkanen."
I watched the "condensed" version of the Tampa / NYI game on Gamecenter. Although they didn't score on the PP, Tampa's PP moves the puck so well. If the Canes end up in the box a lot, it's going to be tough on the Canes. PK is going to have to be much better than it was in Florida.

I watched the game as well, and that was what struck me. Tape-to-tape, never on one guys stick for more than a second. VERY tough to stop, they should've scored SEVERAL times, I was shocked that they didn't even get one.

Doesn't matter how good the PK is if the overrated sieve Ward is going to let in multiple unscreened shots from the blueline again.
Stamkos and LaRose ovechtricks. But in the final minute, Corvo turns it over and some random guy for the Bolts who has never scored a goal in his life scores the winner.

Probably Garon. Either that or whoever blocks Corvo's shot with his shinpads.
Just about 5:30 and the parking lot is actually filling up pretty quick. Some nice tailgating going on but I'm glad I rationed myself today for $1 hot dogs.
The dollar dogs are boiled three hours before the game and kept in a heat unit until they're sold. Keep that in mind when you're thinking about another dog at 8:30.

If the **** they use to make hot dogs doesn't faze someone, I don't see why lingering in a heat unit for three hours would.
Really looking forward to the game tonight, and hoping we play at least decent. Gotta start getting pucks in the net, it is really getting out of hand (I know only one game played). Just seems like the case for the last couple years. I got spoiled with our depth and scoring in the Cup year.
On another note, is anyone else really wishing we had stepped up and gotten Turris last year other than me? Give up Murphy and McBain and a pick.....We arent using those guys now anyway!!!!
An actual defenseman would be more beneficial than a guy like Turris.
Still don't see the hype around Turris. Same for Gagner. Streaky centers that never reached the potential they were expected to, to the point where even the smallest accomplishments have become big deals for them.
Curious bolts fan coming in peace, wondering how Semin looked out there for you guys in his first game? I thought he was one of the most impact signings this off-season no one really talked about..

Not bad. Had a shot ring off the post. Am looking for him and EStaal to be the duo we've been hoping for soon.
