I can't believe we are playing two rookies together with a grinder.

Hoping for the best tonight. Would love to see Galchenyuk get his first NHL goal.

A grinder who will make sure nobody takes liberties on them. And who also was one of the better forwards in the first game.
I am looking forward to seeing it personally. Though I doubt it lasts the whole game.

Gallagher will probably get benched after his first shift. Not enough intensity.

predict the lines by the end of the game:
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Armstrong
Gionta-Plekanec-Bourque
Gallagher-Galchenyuk-Cole
Moen-White-Prust

The standings are hilarious!
Edit --> we're destroying Clemmensen in nets and winning 6-2.
2g-1a for Pacioretty and 2a for Markov.

and it's Scott Clemmensen in nets for Florida, who has a 6-0-0 record and a 1.68 goals against average against the Habs...

Over or Under 22mins Bouillion? I say Therrien needs to see a little more of him out there.

Ditto.
The line will get one period together then it'll get broken up and Therrien will try something new. But I would be surprised to see any two of Gionta, Desharnais and Gallagher on any one line. Too much small if any of them play together.

Galchenyuk wearing the 27 versus the REAL original 27 L'artiste.

In fairness, he wasn't much worse than any of our other d-men on that night. He might have been better than most. Markov looked a little slow although he might have been the best, Emelin was always out-of-position, Gorges was not himself, Diaz WAS himself, and Kaberle... well he was just awful.

People are complaining about Bouillon, but lets say it how it is. We have a bad D-core without Subban, and like it or not, Bouillon is in our top 4. You can't give Kaberle 20min+ and don't know if Diaz is ready to play that much. Bergevin should wake up and upgrade his 2,75m per year offer.
Our Ds should be :
Markov - Subban (I'd like to see that pairing)
Emelin - Gorges (I prefer Emelin playing on the left side)
Bouillon - Diaz

Galchenyuk gets his first NHL point, setting up a Diaz goal, which proves to be the winner. Habs win 3-0.

We may not know if Diaz is ready for it, but we do know that Bouillon is not, so...
