After jumping out to a quick 2 goal first period lead against they fell behind 3-2 in the second and then exchange goals to force an overtime and end up falling in a shoot out.
Hoping to bounce back with a win against the Columbus blue jackets the hawks dominate through two periods and build a commanding 4-0 lead going into the third, sloppy play combined with a determined effort from the jackets led to 5 unanswered 3rd period goals, the final one coming with under 30 seconds to play
The hawks finally put together a 60 minute game in a rematch with Columbus and earn a 3-0 win.
This playoff stretch has been a blast guys! Lets keep it going
Wow guys, just checked out the standings and I gotta say I love our playoff rush in the east but damn... The west is a true playoff race. Everybody over there all the way down to 12 place I think would be a playoff team (at least points wise) I theeast. Looks like in the east we still may have a really close battle for the 8 seed but it kinda looks like 5-8 are completely undecided over there, be interesting to see how it turns out
Will Anaheim please at least set your CPU'since you hardly play any games, and they are mostly simmed. Way too late in the season for people to be inactive

did the other team you had mentioned address your concerns? (the new minny GM i think?)
regarding anaheim, have you sent him a message on here or xbox to see if he is around?

has anybody been able to play him yet?
I saw Minnesota had played 2 games but just found those games were against CPU. As for messaging them, I didn't actually play them , I have just noticed since joining there has been virtually no posting on the boards and no scores in the box scores the last 2 sims for Anaheim, and hardly any for Minnesota. , until after the sim. And a few GMs have complained to me, but don't like to rustle feathers by complaining, but I obviously have no problem doing it haha

lol well better to mention it, particularly if a few people comment on it, as it is hard for jumbo and i to see everybody 24/7 etc, although some people are just on at different times, such as that person who posted about you never being online when in fact you were every day
in general our expectation is people will message their opponents on xbox or hfboards to try to arrange a time to play if they know they don't see that person on too often when they are online, if it results in no response after a little time let us know, as people have done, and we will remove people, as we have done
Jackets Captain Dustin Brown, "Obviously this is a big blow to our team as Eric has been a key part of our offense this year. We are going to have to prove that we are a complete team and get 100 % effort from everbody in the lineup.. we are still confident and are looking forward to a strong finish to the season."
Columbus won the game 2-1 against the Minnesota Wild.

As GM of the I am pleased by the teams turn around from mid season. However, with that we are not done mixing things up. We look forward to a strong playoff run in which we can establish Ottawa as a perennial playoff team. Unfortunately, this season for us and many other clubs has been riddled with injuries. It's a safe bet that Ottawa will try to utilize our depth players in order to conserve the Ryan Kesler's and Milan Michalek's for a deep playoff run. May the spring months bring health and longevity.

My God injuries suck. Perron and petriangelo i.jured right now, luckily short term but sobotka and brodziak out for the season now.
On another note another day almost gone by and the western logjam is even more crazy getting down the stretch.
Yeah. Trying to get San Jose to play, but he's been ignoring everything I throw at him. Anyone know what the deal with him is?
San Jose has got to go, won't respond to me either and won't set his CPU, and Anaheim hasn't been on in forever and never plays either. Set ur CPU, it's common courtesy that the rest of us do when we won't be around or in the case of San Jose , just don't want to play
