I think losing Rafi and Lidstrom is the reason our power play isn't good. Renney may be a good coach we just don't have the skill from the back end just yet to find the open man. Of course it would help if Smith would get consistent PP time.

Is it just me or does Lashoffs decisons with the puck and passing look really impressive to anyone else?

It's not just you. Lashoff is going to make it hard to sit him.

Haha they just wiill NOT shoot the puck.

It's ok when you're a team of HoFers but this team can't afford to miss these opportunities.

That top line really needs Pavs as center. Or we could go with:

Nyquist-Pavs-Mule
Fil-Z-Brunner

Git 'er dun Babs.

oh you mean he just makes a normal decision and moves the puck instead of holding onto it for way longer than he should and then turning it over at a really inopportune time? Yeah that instantly makes him stand out to me, too

What I said yesterday.

Babcock hasn't seemed to make a single adjustment through two games.

And based on ice time our second line is Cleary, Abby, and Miller. Second pairing is SMith/Quincey.

Really makes you wonder.

This. This team has zero scoring depth the way the lines are set up right now.

He keeps it simple, doesn't oversimplify. I'm liking him so far. I'm also liking Huskin's as well.

Z seems to slow down the momentum with Dats and Brunner.

Flip-Dats-Brunner
Nyquist-Z-Mule.

No I get that but us at even strength was pretty decent, then we get the man advantage and we can't do a single thing. Like can't even get into their zone...does no compute.

The forwards are a problem too. I've been watching some other team's PP's on youtube and the NHL channel. Ours is way too predictable. We only have 2 cycling forwards and one guy parked in front of the net with a constant, predictable, plan to pass to the point and get a shot.

Other teams don't do that. Other teams don't go 0/12.

He's wearing a Red Jersey with the #14, he's about 6 feet tall and probably weighs around 190 pounds.

Seems like nobody can keep the puck on their stick for more than a couple seconds... Hard to set up scoring chances.

Flip-Dats-Nyquist

Liking the Abby line tonight, Huskins, White, Lashoff all looking fine. Good to see Smith take Cola's place on the PP too.

1. Pavs isn't the primary puck distributor.
2. We don't have a d-man who can find the open guy.

Lashoff has a good point shot, maybe give him a chance with the man advantage.

The fact that everyone is getting a hockey boner because Lashoff and Huskins are making simple, fundamental hockey decisions correctly, such as "Will this action cause the other team to score?" is both hilarious and depressing at the same time.

What's even funnier is that if Babcock gets the line chemistry right and Brunner continues to grow, that could be all we really need in the short term.

Still, crazy.
