Thing is Bourque got traded to us and showed absolutely nothing. It was pathetic to watch. That was the first impression we got of him. The reaction is a bit normal.
It's clear Lars "The Cancer" Eller was slowing him down.

Does anyone else notice how this team differs from the last few years ?

They stick together as a team !!! After the whistle, they are ALL there to protect each other. This makes for a strong united team.

Not sure if posted, but so far I couldn't be happier in light of:

#tradepleky
#trademarkov

Also despite Eller not being there, I like what I'm seeing from Chucky's line. That 3 on 1 allowed Gorges to float in and get that shot. (Chucky was open and confident he would have roofed it, but still a great team play.) GallyB (redundant?) doing exactly what we hoped he would.

Go Habs Go!

Unless they are dumping Eller I'm thinking more and more Galchenyuk is better off in the CHL. Even Gallagher looks more NHL ready than him.

It's not a bad thing though, the skill is there.

Best part was Florida's broadcaster saying how tough Gorges is and that he'll answer the call if Parros wants to fight later... George 'effin Parros?? No he won't!! lol

I didn't see much wrong with the hit, to be honest. Certainly wasn't kneeing and even tripping is a weak call.

So bizarre to see a physical Habs team!

Yup, he's so smart. As long as he stays healthy, he could be this good for another 10 years. And I'm not joking.

Bouillon plays pretty solid he hasn't made any big defensive blunders. Ok he's 37 but he looks like he's in the shape of a 29 year old, with PK out of the equation I have no problem with it. Emelin and Diaz are both also in the 7min+ in the period.

Weber has no place on this team. He really is the odd-man out. Just trade the guy.

Galchenyuk looks good at center, no way this kid is going back down to Sarnia. Markov has really impressed me so far, looks much better then i anticipated.

On the score sheet yes but he's quietly having a very good game. 100% on the dot too.

If Bouillon was PK Subban where Gally was wide open during that chance and passed it to him instead of epic failing and causing a turnover, it would of been passed on his tape for a goal.

Kind of funny the two homegrown vets who everyone wants to chase out of town continue to lead them on the ice.

If you're talking about Boullion, I thought he looked pretty good. Great interception on the PK (I think Kovy was on the other end of that pass).

Are you watching on Eastlink Center Ice? I can't find a HD channel, wondering if you have one?

The first 12 minutes of that game were amazing, it's been a while since I've enjoyed a period that much.

If Galchenyuk needs to play more in the OHL, send him back there, keep the other Gally and put Eller as the third C? That could give great results for everyone.

Also, Kaberle and Bouillon are definetly better when they play the time they should, which is clearly 3rd pairing time. Nice Therrien...
