It can be if you have the players, we don't have the players. In fact I don't think the Preds have the players for any particular strategy. We have a bunch of guys who have a well rounded skillset, but aren't particularly good at any one thing. There's no specialists and outside of Weber's slapshot, nobody with a skill that stands out. Just a bunch of borderline 2nd/3rd line clones. We don't even have the team speed anymore that was a feature following the last lockout. The Preds are just a mediocre pile of blah.

Bourque skated in too close, easy poke check for Backstrom.

Ellis showing why he's on this team, Bourque can't finish.

That's our luck, the player goes into the goalie and net but not the puck.

LOL, Bourque's breakaway attempt sums up our team nicely.

Why would anyone choose to play in Minnesota? Its as quite as a funeral in that place. Those fans suck.

Teams are going to give us the perimeter all season if we don't show any desire to take it to the middle.

...Bourque smashes into Backstrom and no scrum, so it doesn't have to happen on every single meaningless play?

Legwand killed offensive zone rush, then Borque gets a fantastic breakaway pass! At least you gained the zone twice in 2 shifts
