Doesn't take a genius to see last season was a toxic environment to drop anyone into, especially someone who was already in a slump. The people who raged against Bourque deserve the commuppence they get.

Hold on "Johnny Quest" ....

game ain't over yet .... if it meant BOURQUE being in - then it has worked, so far (agree that Gallagher needed a game and Galy needed to be in as well - COLBY could have sat? .....as another option?

Now, as a coach, if you want to punish somebody, the only right player to punish is THAT guy. If you punish the wrong guy, say somebody that doesn't have results but works real hard anyway, then the players aren't gonna react well. If you punish the right guy, then your team will really respect the fact that, as a coach, you see things as they do.

My guess is that Therrien hit the nail on the head, and the guys agree with him that Eller deserved the press box tonight.

Bouillon? No way. Therrien loves him too much. Bouillon will retire as a Hab if Therrien is still there.

its funny people want to replace subban alrdy with diaz because of 1 decent period

how can anyone forget what pk brings to this team , and people are acting like this is an ACTUALy contract hold out, give me a break, in a normal season the "holdout" would be only going over the preseason, its just unfortunate there are none this year so it makes pk look even worse, ..but im not ready to have diaz replace him, no way.

however i am happy to see webers tenure is finally probably OVER with the habs.

I am very impressed with therriens canadiens tonight. They were excellent in the first. Even rene bourque was engaged. I don't believe we need to tank to rebuild this thing, and if you think about it, there's no way this team finishes 3rd last again, not with markov back. Even if our pick is a lower one, the draft is deep, and we have timmins. chances are we're gonna draft a quality player or 2 this year again. we also have nashville and calgary's 2nd. and atleast one of those is gonna be a high 2nd. guess which.

and we still got beaulieu, tinordi, ellis, hudon, collberg. don;t forget free agency. chin up people...cheer for your habs.

Bouillon gives the Habs grit. Don't worry he will be with it.

Sorry Kulikov, but everytime I see you, I see Eberle's goal. I cannot see anything else.

I don't think anyone's serious about letting Subbydoo walk. If they are, they deserve a padded cell right next to Henry Bain and Turcotte.

Sometimes NHL'ers frustrate me. Can't believe what Armstrong did with White there. You know your d-men are changing, but then you shoot wide and hard enough to be sure that you're participating in the Panthers offensive charge.
