Fatty McLargeass?!???

I am shocked they won. No statemtent or factoid gave us a chance. Sure they looked tired in the 3rd, who wouldn't with 3 games in 4 days and on the road? Plus I'm sure the Caps came out in the 3rd ready for blood in a failed home opener.

Darth Ovechkin was truly cut down in half.

I thought Noel should have kept rotating 4 lines instead of shortening the bench. This is two games back to back that he has ridden the veterans too hard. He needs to have more trust in some of the youngsters and get them out more in these situations. The team will fade if we keep trotting Buff etc.. Out for 30 minutes a game.

But quite happy with the victory, thought everyone played well. No passengers tonight.

Apparently the Jets took my ejaculations at the TV yesterday of, "do stuff!" to heart and, well, tonight actually did stuff!

Good game. Third period sketched me out a little, but I'm liking some of the chemistry. Could just be a rusty Washington. We'll have to how the Jets fare on Friday.

You should have aimed more of those at Clitsome...
