"That was a beautiful game of hockey." -- No one ever.
4point game though, so good enough.

Solid start to the season. Never expected it to be clicking straight away but there are FAR more positives than negatives

Agree.
Now we have to capitalize on the 5 game home stand.

We're getting real quality minutes out of Conacher and Aulie. Both these young guys played another good game with the opportunities they're getting.

One major positive is a goaltending duo that actually seems to be working so far. I know it's 3 gane but still.

D played much better today and Garon played great.
I can't recall anything negative about either Aulie or Mikkelson. Good job guys.

All we need is for Stamkos to start getting on and we'll be lights out and likely more effective on the PP

Our biggest minus is Stamkos hasn't turned it on yet.
The biggest plus is how ****ing scary we'll be when he does.

2 points is 2 points. Especially against a division rival in the second game of back-to-back road games.
+ I thought Aulie had a great game, scored a goal, blocked shots, used his reach and had a couple of huge hits
+ Conacher continues to impress - no matter what line he's on
+ Vinny came to play, he was a force again and had two beautiful assists
+ Garon was very solid, made a couple of great saves
- Stamkos was terrible, he looked flat, nothing worked for him, his passes didn't connect, he couldn't control the puck, he had a single shot and he was always one second behind
- the PP still needs a lot of work

What's scary about Stamkos not yet turning it on is that he is still almost averaging 2PPG at the minute. Small sample size FTW. He'll get there, I have no worries.
Aulie was huge, Mikkelson was solid I thought. He seemed to have no problem getting the puck out of the zone unlike a few other defensemen.
The powerplay will come good too, I have too much faith in Boucher to let this rot for another year.

He's been solid so far. I believe he's played the most minutes for us too.

He's solid on both sides of the ice, eats a lot of minutes and he's quietly picking up the assists (2 in 3 games so far).
His biggest flaw is probably his weak shot.

Yeah, I've liked Carle a lot so far. Poised with the puck, and hasn't made any bad decisions so far.

I am intrigued by the possibility of an Aulie-Gudas pairing down the road.

Split them up for extra pain.

Stammer ended up with the assist on Malone's goal instead of Marty:

Let's see if they fix it.

Well, it's double the pain if they play together, right?
Could be a really nasty shutdown pairing.

Probably next year's PK with Brewer coming in so you can rotate the three.
And next year's PP pairing will be a rotation of Carle, Hedman, and Barberio
