I'm watching the draft on TSN.ca and they just interviewed Lowe.
He was pretty sad about Pronger's trade request, well, more depressed than sad, but the fact he defined him "the best player in the NHL" means the price will be very high.
Pronger is signed for a 3 for a few more years at a decent prize (will be decent once you see what other D in his elite class get ie Lidstrom, Chara, Redden, and what Scotty N. gets). He is not the best player, but he is no doubt a top 5 defensemen. imho only Neids and Lidstrom have arguements for being better. So he will cost alot. Considering you just traded Demitra, doubt you are in the market for him.
