Galchenyuk getting the first star was great! So glad that Markov is back! Bourque, Gallagher, Diaz, Emelin and Prust were also fantastic! Great game!

Just a question for the mods, wouldn't it be better to close the GDT after a PGT is made? Just a suggestion!

It's actually the fans who vote, but good choice. Glad for him, I hope he stays.

Pas l'temps de niaiser instead of No excuses engraved in the locker room? Markov better write it down and put it in the suggestion box

White is the man.

It was funny listening to the butt-hurt Panthers announcers trying to make excuses. Flesichmann is a nice guy. Gorges is okay. If you hit our player from behind, 4-5 feet away from the boards, INTO the boards, expect retribution. White didn't hesitate. That's exactly what you do.

This WAS NOT the Canadiens of Jacques Martin. Jock would have pulled the reins and went into the turtle after the 2 goal lead.

The Habs never took their foot off of the throttle.

The 2-5-10 taken by White was absolutely fantastic. He stood up for his teammate Gorges and in return, White's teammates stood up for him with a textbook perfect penalty kill.

Again, huge difference with Therrien behind the bench. Loving the aggressive style of play.

Prust is even better than I thought and I was the happiest Habs fan when we signed him.

Glad to see Galchenyuk have an immediate impact. Although I'm not jumping for joy on him yet. Although before his team trial is up, I'd love to see him put a few more in and really make the decision to send him down a tough one.

Too bad this isn't an 82 game season so we could really see how he'd fair over a full schedule.

Different team tonight, however we did get Florida on a 2 in 2 so we got a softer opposition. I did however love Markov's General like PP execution and Galchenyuk,Gallagher and Prust experiment was awesome.

Bourque

Played hard and looked great all night tonight! Worked hard all game, drew a penalty and went to the net hard on Plekanec's goal. He also had a bunch of hits and created space out there. Was very happy with his game, credit where it is due!

Wow... I did not remember how much of a dominant player Markov was. It was such a pleasure to watch him break offensive outbreak one after the other with his elite sense of anticipation. What a player...

Crazy that Galchenyuk wasn't even born when Kovalev first started in the NHL...

Good game and i'm glad to see Diaz doing really well. I hope him and Markov continue the good work on the PP.

On a side note, wtf is Cole doing? This guy is so sloppy it's unreal. He's nowhere near the guy he was last year. Did he forget to train during the lock out or what? I hope he ****ing pick it up very soon or he might be the next one going healthy scratch.

The #1 underrated player by this board was Bouillon tonight.

The man hit. He pitched in at the right time. He held the zone.

He might be in a bit over his head, but damn it, he works hard as hell. Top work ethics.

Nice to FINALLY see Habs play a good game. Too many penalties but I'll take the win.

So nice to see Markov back to his old self. The General making a statement. Shooter? Who needs a shooter!?

Habs win, PK loses, this round.
