Behindthenet doesn't have stats up yet. They need to get on that. I'm sure they're just fascinating.

Remember, sophomore slumps are proven in the NHL. There are accouple of statistical proven sites if you Google it. So far, the rookies are playing like their in slump. Couturier, Schenn and Read have not been good, which happens with ALOT of sophomores

Lets end the season right now, do the draft, and then start a new season in a couple weeks.

Oh we have the 1st overall pick? What do you know?

Pretty much. Hoping for a defender, but if Jones goes 1 or 2 (which he will), I'd go for one of the other forwards (Lindholm, Drouin, Monahan, Barkov). If their gone, take Ristolainen or Pulock

Just season. I could sit down and work out the game stats if I wanted, but I don't want.

I'm not big on Drouin, to be honest. It's probably my bias against little guys.

Not too versed in the prospects in this years draft. Who's the best goal scoring winger in this draft?

Hasn't Ristolainen pretty much dropped since December?

After watching him in the WJC, I think he's the most talented player in the draft. I'd easily take him. Some are even saying he has a chance at #1.

HF has him at 10. Central scouting has him at #3 European. ISS has him at 8.

By most accounts he has been good.

Oh, ha I hadn't heard that one, I didn't know this one was a myth till last year.

On topic I don't think it is time to get very worried yet, if they are still doing badly 8 games in which would be a 1/6 of the season then it would be time to start worrying. Last season the Wild won 16/20 games from Oct. 29-Dec. 13 and I think for a while they led the league, then they ended up missing the playoffs.

Could be. I'm not hiding the unscientific nature of my hesitancy.

I guess after watching him, a part of me wants him on Giroux's wing. That being said, I dont think we will do THAT bad this season. Im looking at a 9-13 th pick.

ISS wasn't too impressed with him. Dropped him out of top 30. CS has him as 10th American.

I really should be paying more attention to Drouin. The Mooseheads were just in Blainville-Boisbriand this past week, which is all of 10 minutes away from my place.

Jones = the guy we desperately need

Gotta say, the worst thing about losing is the cluelessness on the main boards.

Whaaaa? 34 goals and 63 points in 45 games, and he's 6'3" 200lbs. If he drops out of the first round, homer should take this kid if he has the opportunity I think.
