Grats on your win, guys. Definitely the top two teams in the west.

To go along with what Kane said, all the lines are producing. I've been impressed with Kruger and Saad. The D pairings are playing well together too. I like Hammer and Oduya playing together, and Leddy/Rozsival are a pretty good 5/6, especially considering their ice time.

I'll be happy if the Hawks can continue to score a PPG a game, and the PK has been pretty good

Rozsival made a couple of mistakes tonight that stood out to me, but mostly this is the happiest I've been with our 5/6 in a long time.

I have not felt this way about the team since 2010. They have a lot to prove, but the talent is there.

Please don't tell me people are going to turn on Shaw now after two games. He's a 5th round pick in his sophomore season. Cool your expectations people.

Seems like Shaw has lost some of that edge. Playing AHL did him no good. Glad he is back up with the big squad. I think he gets better quickly.

Kruger looks like a different player.

Great game out of Crawford

Dead right about Emery but he didn't play tonight.

Why not move Kruger to #3C, give Maters a shot @ #4C, sit Bollig against most teams, and move Shaw back to the wing?

Overall, very impressed with Saad and thought Craw had a good game.

Kruger with another very nice game.

Shaw is brutal at #3C. Kruger has improved enough to take that spot. Shaw seems better suited to be a winger.

This is the best suggestion.

Q rolls with the "if it's working don't touch it" philosophy.

Good transition early. Lots of action and chances for the Hawks. Got a 3-on-0 that Kane finished. Cashed in on a PP. Stalberg had a nice snipe. 3-0 was the score when the Blues rallied for two goals in about ten minutes. Hawks withstood a flurry in the last minute for a third straight win.

My expectations are for Andrew Shaw are basically for him to become a smaller, more-controlled Daniel Carcillo.

Q's expectations for Shaw are apparently for him to become a 3rd line center.

I'd say Q's expectations need to cool off more than mine.

Assuming they see his game more mirroring Bolly's with the grit/edge factor. I think Kruger should be the 3C and put Shaw on the wing to provide that grit and edge. Shaw also showed some chemistry last year with Bickell. Only thing is Stalberg is a top 9 player.

Thanks, sounds like Crawford has a decent game? Nice to see the win in regulation.

We saw how this worked during the 9 game losing streak last year.

Faced 34 shots on the night and saved 32 of them. Kruger saved a goal, but Crawford had some really nice saves. Solid outing for him. I believe he's now 7-1-1 against the Blows.

This.

Shaw looks overmatched at center in the NHL. Put him back on the wing and let him play the game that made him successful last season.

Stalberg-Kruger-Shaw
Bickell-Mayers-Frolik would be nice to see.

I agree. Keep trying to promote growth/improvement in team. The only struggling piece in the lineup though is Shaw, but I think he'll get his game together. Bollig needs to play more or be out of the lineup. I think he should stay in the lineup but needs more than 5min a game. He had some huge hits in that PHX game that helped set the tone. It would be nice if Bowman can get a bottom 6 banger to get Bollig out the lineup if Q doesn't feel very comfortable with him in a lot of situations.

Different game if Elliott doesn't allow 2 softies. Don't care, it's a win.

CC was great. Best fix for the goalie situation: have your guy play good.

I wouldn't exactly call those softies...one was a redirect off Seabrook's skate and the other was Stalberg's shot between the defender's legs where Elliott was screened by his own teammate.

Stalberg is listed as a LW but he has played both wings. I think he should play on the right side all the time - he seems more dangerous on his off wing. With Kane and Hossa locking up 1RW and 2RW - Stalberg should play 3RW the rest of the season.
