I'm sorry, not a fan of Galchenyuk's new nickname "Chuckie" that Gallagher was so kind to give to Alex. I think Gallagher should be the gentleman and take back that nickname since we all call Galchenyuk "Gally" here.

...You're being sarcastic right? Galchenyuk should get Gally back because we, random HFBoards posters, like calling him that? And I don't think it was Gallagher that gave him the Chuckie nickname...

3/9 so not very good. Matthias and Weiss were better at the face off dot than anyone on Montreal.

My prediction for tonight game is 1G1A for Gally (Yes I know is not realistic, but every time I do prediction about Gally, they occur, and I hope the best for Gally )
Thiiiiiiiis guuuuuuy!

But wow I'm so pumped about this game still. I'm so happy for both gallys, I was thinking maybe calling Gallagher gbaby? (still looks like one :p)

Nope.

3 Faceoff Won (FOW)
6 Faceoff Lost (FOL)

So he took a total of 9 Faceoffs. 3 Won, 6 lost

Unless my math is off, the league-wide average for faceoffs is always a constant 50%.

I'm a Sens fan but I did watch the whole game. From what I saw, he definitely looks like a NHL player, doesn't seem out of place at all. Forget the goal, what I like about him is that he's so assertive with the puck. You'll often see 18 year olds in this league just trying to not make mistakes and make themselves small. He doesn't play like that, he's always trying to get the puck or get himself into areas where he can get it.
Very impressive.

He was impressive. But let's remember something:

1- 1 game
2- Against a team who played 3 games in 4 nights, 2nd in 2

I wouldn't tatoo "NHL" ready on his back just yet. I wanna see how he fares against a stronger opposition like the Caps.

But they will be rested. As opposed to the Panthers who were clearly not keeping up for being out of breath.

I want to see how Galchenyuk fares against an energized NHL team while playing center. Playing center is a big responsibility, and I was afraid he couldn't pull it off. But he clearly did against a tired Panthers team.

What can he do against a rested Capitals?

He looked better last night than he did on Saturday. But he played his natural position so I guess thats normal. He did not look out of place at all. I dont know if he will stick in the NHL this year but IMO he looked real good.

Funny how the Galchenyuk haters all want to see him go down to Sarnia, despite the fact that he clearly is NHL ready... Folks this is a Super prospect not your typical 18 year old...
