After putting it off for a long time, I finally got around to starting the Lord of the Rings trilogy (for the first time). Watched the first movie and then the second the following night. Kept putting off the 3rd as I haven't had the 3 hours to dedicate to it yet. I can see why people are so into this trilogy. I'm not necessarily "obsessed" with it, or totally in awe of what I'm watching, but I do thoroughly enjoy it. Not sure why I put it off/had no interest for so many years...
"Devils just trap trap trap trap. Sure it's a modified trap different than LeMaire's but even with two forecheckers they have the defense sitting back with the third guy clogging up the middle of the ice." - explanation of how the Devils still employ the trap
I'm still not sure which is my favorite album - it's (boring answer incoming) between Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road. I like both slightly more than Rubber Soul, which I like slightly more than Revolver, which I like substantially more than The Beatles/White Album and the rest of their discography.
Revolver has some of my favorite tracks (She Said She Said, And Your Bird Can Sing, Taxman, For No One) but also has some of my least favorite "prime" Beatles tracks (Love You To, Yellow Submarine).
Overall, my favorite songs are...
-She's Leaving Home (#1)
-Abbey Road medley (specifically, Golden Slumbers, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, and Sun King)
-And Your Bird Can Sing
-Good Night (cheesy beyond belief, but it's such a warm song that wouldn't have worked with anyone but Ringo singing)
-When I'm Sixty-Four
-For No One
