I don't.

He's got tremendous talent, but he still needs to grow into it... and I'm hoping to have a lot of fun watching him grow.

That's what this thread is for.
I disagree. You got be productive to win the Calder, so its a jinx to production, as evidenced by his last two games since this jinx.

Guess I'll start a thread somewhere about you being a millionaire...sorry you're about to lose your job.

Yes, that's what I meant. For the Calder race, CC is starting from a better position than Hubs. Better support, more experience and for some reason mainstream hockey media doesn't seem to be interested in him at all, so less pressure.

Go ahead and do it. You cant purposefully jinx someone. If you could I would start 29 threads about every other team winning the Stanley Cup. Come on Laus, its like youre a jinx rookie.

It's days like these where we could use a little jinxcraft policing around here...

Haha, I came here to ask you guys if you expected him to stick around after his five games were up. I guess this thread answers my question.

Why wouldn't we expect him to stick around?

Well he's got a bright future for sure and he's off to a fast start but he was kind of underwhelming at the WJC. I'm really not trying to troll, I just haven't been able to watch him play outside the WJC and a little in the Memorial Cup.

Making him go back to his junior team where he has clearly dominated the league with his talent... stupid.

You're not letting him develop and hone his talents. He belongs in the NHL. He is wasting time in the juniors, and he's not old enough for the AHL (where he would also be wasting his time).

Oh, and by 'saving a year' on his contract, you're probably pissing him off and giving him a reason to resent this organization because he is clearly ready to be in the NHL. 'Saving a year' on Huberdeau is, in reality, putting him one year closer to wanting out.

He came in as perennial talent in game 1 and now he's AHL talent.

Delete this thread before he doesn't look pro anymore!

Well the pesky bugger finally scored despite my best efforts.

Since he has chosen to play Harry Potter to my Voldemort....

Maybe I should change the name of this thread to "HHoF Watch Thread"

Any thoughts Beezer?

They are going to rename Gretzky. Instead of the great one, he will just be, "the guy we watched waiting for huberdeau."

Why did they take away Huberdeau's assist last night? He clearly set up the play to Kuba for the point shot and Mueller put in the rebound.

Had a great view of that, he worked his arse off in that battle.

Pretty sure it's because the puck hit Goc before Mueller got it on his stick, thus negating Hubs' point

I think Huberdeau will retire at 40 after 4 Stanley Cups as a forward and play goalie for us for 1 year, upon which he will win the Vezina and break the save % record. What an amazing career

Dude, it's obvious the statisticians know 1 assist won't make a difference in what is to come from Huberdeau. He's due for roughly 3 assists next game.

Since someone stopped crying about jinxes, suddenly golden boy has started to put up points again.

The conclusion is undeniable:

Beezer... is a witch!!!

you know what must be done...

Huberdeau leads the team with 5 goals.

I'll let you decide if that is more a reflection of praise for Huberdeau or indictment of the veteran forwards around him.
