If he were to go anywhere, that would make some sense.

Weird to see Kennedy on waivers, he had no contract (RFA), unless he signed one this morning

I guess they'll announce it along with Gomez signing today.

Kennedy keeps spiraling downward.
Should've stayed with what he had going in Buffalo. He could have still been in the League if not for that. Likely a career AHL'er at this point, but he really screwed himself over in the long run.

Ian Cole stays with the team. Redden gets activated, Cole gets 'sent down' till Woywitka clears waiver then Cole gets an immediate recall. Its a book keeping thing mostly.

Most likely. Teams rarely announce after they terminate the deals.
Woywitka and Kennedy both clear waivers.
Philaldephia puts Niko Hovinen on termination waivers.

I'm pretty sure it will be a 2-way deal.

Kennedy's deal is a 2-way worth $675,000
Oliers claimed Niko Hovinen off of waivers.
Jets put Mark Dekanich on waivers.

Proven goalie in FEL, worth a shot in my opinion. Maybe he has some troubles getting used to life/hockey in NA.

He basically refused to adapt for play over here and has work ethic issues.
Not the type of player you want in an upcoming franchise like the Oilers

Edmonton puts Yann Danis on waivers today, which probably signifies that Nikolai Khabibulin is healthy again, or Edmonton is adding Luongo

Three players placed on waivers today and I could see any or all (but most likely none
) claimed.
Carolina puts Zach Boychuk on waivers
New Jersey puts Cam Janssen on waivers
San Jose puts Frazer McLaren on waivers
Boychuk was a 1st round pick just 4 and a half years ago who put up 32 points in 37 games in the AHL this season.
Janssen is a fighter and fighting seems to be way up in the NHL this year, ditto McLaren.
Yann Danis cleared waivers

Wow, as a Sens fan I'd love to give Boychuk a chance here.

Zach Boychuk would be a good pickup for someone to give a change of scenery tryout, send him back down for Carolina to grab if he doesn't workout.
