I don't think Boychuk was really that bad in one game to not get another opportunity. I realize winning now is important but it seems like they didn't give him that much of a chance this year.
Gotta wonder what's going through his head at this point. As much pressure as he faced to make the team, he finally accomplished that goal and then gets scratched in favor of a guy who plays 3 minutes and does nothing.
Those lines are hilariously similar to what the HF "experts" were posting in the offseason. I'm not sure what Muller was seeing in the combinations during those first two games, or if he was just forcing some experiments into a shortened timeframe.
I'll be pretty frustrated if he moves away from these lines for tomorrow's game.
Once again the HF is smarter than both the coaching staff and management.
Fact: nobody here would have put J.Staal on a line with Tlusty and Dwyer
Fact: nobody here would have signed Joe Corvo.
I think these two things are enough for Peter Karmanos to fire everyone and replace them with HF members.
