The Swedes are taking the practice off (Hank, Dank, 5 million dollar man).
It's good to see that most of the team went to the optional.

Be that as it may, Schneider is starting, as per AV/the Canucks.

How about we start the goalie that we're not trying to trade? You know, our #1?

Does anyone know when the Canucks come back into RA for the game? I just want to know when to stand outside Gate 9 to meet them.

Fair enough about the first one but I'm curious about the 2nd one. Cammalleri has one recorded fight (per: hockeyfights.com) in something like 8 seasons in the NHL. What makes him such a favourite in this proposed bout?

Why would you start the backup?

This is clearly a game in which schneider gets the start.

Ohhh careful, if you touch iggy he might get angry and call on mystical powers to will his team to victory.

Or he might be about as effective as he is most games vs vancouver

Cammalleri is supposed to be freakishly strong, so that and age. Not sure if Shredder has ever fought but something tells me he hasn't.

Don't think age is a factor between these two players. Schroeder might not be Bruce Lee but he isn't Kyle Wellwood either.

The guy that Cammy did fight was Krejci (not exactly a guy known for fighting either) & it doesn't appear it was a clear-cut win for Cammy (not like Krejci was that much bigger than him - taller but weighs less)

[QUOTE=craigcaulks;58166227]Kassian v. Iginla.

Shredder v. Cammi.[/QUOTE. Iginla is only tough when faced with the likes of known tough customers like Ohlund, Kesler or Burrows. Seriously I've saw him put on his tough guy routine with Burrows, beaking at him like he didn't know Burrows wouldn't fight him. So then Bieksa skates in there to have a word with Iggy, Jarome just turns around and skates off. No way he wanted anything to do with Bieksa. So I can't see him going with Kassian. For a guy who is supposed to be one of the toughest middle weights in the league (according to Flames Fans and media anyway) he won't fight any of the tougher middleweights in the league, he only fights guys who are not known for fighting. It's just an act he puts on so he can be a hero for the fans in cowtown.

Eh - Jarome is a decently tough guy. His fights with Willie Mitchell were freaking epic.

Ryan Kesler had a wicked bout with him when he was a rookie, too.

Pretty sure Clowe qualifies as a decently tough middle weight.

Kassian bloodying Eager was pretty awesome ... first time I've seen him take on a NHL-enforcer type. I don't think there are many middle weights who would even bother fighting Kassian. Clowe is a monster, that would be a good fight.

Just terrible.
That's actually not disgustingly bad, especially when you consider Cervenka bounces Backlund from the top 6 on his return (Saturday) and Hudler bounces winger you can't remember (Stempniak), also Saturday.

Calgary should be better then they are.

You don't consider Stau***** an enforcer type? Or just forgot about that tilt?

More like tick him off. I *still* remember the time we were in complete command of a game & Iggy was just floating out there; then #24 hit him hard (it was a clean check) and "woke him up". Not long afterwards, Iggy goes "end-to-end" & scores a goal. Game momentum changed right there.....
