The good news is that daylight is starting to come back. Normally when I commute back home between 6 and 6:20 it's pitch black, last night I was catching the end of the sunset.

Heated seats are overrated. 9 out of 10 cars that have them also have leather seats. Try getting into a car when its 95F out and not have swamp ass. If you have seat AC too, then thats the nuts corners.

I had leather and heated seats in my last car. My current one is cloth with leather trim, no heated seats and I'm not missing it.

I kinda agree with you. Leather seats is one upgrade I chose NOT to have. Too hot or too cold. We went with cloth. With a kid (and plans for another in the future), cloth made sense. We even got the cloth protection plan for potential stains of ice cream, snot, poo....

Sounds like you dislike leather more than heated seats. My Jetta had cloth and heated seats and it was great. Then again, I don't have swamp ass just from sitting on leather seats, either.

Maybe its because I didn't run the AC much as I preferred the gas savings. Showers are less expensive.
