I might end up giving the game a chance again with the new DLC and move sets. **** Universe though. Probably gonna go with online play more. Add 'mgnops' if you're on PS3, and if I'm ever on, we'll play.

Is there a way to fix the stupid glitch where you have to dashboard because you're stuck on the loading screen while you're joining a game online. I've never seen such garbage and annoying servers and if it's not the servers it's just the game freezing when I try to go in the Xbox live mode.

Hells yeah, Price. Should jump in sometime with me and Le Tricolore and just play. We just play the CPU to avoid spammers but it's good fun. Except I vote for no more elimination chambers that was ridiculous lol

Is there a place I can download someone else's custom rosters? I know for some other games people edit players and their ratings and they can be downloaded online. I'm looking for 2003-2006 era rosters.

EA Sports is rumored to be taking over the WWE series.

You've got to be kidding me.

What does EA Sports know about WWE?

I hope they're just publishing and not developing.

According to Dave Meltzer

"A deal was already made last week with a leading sports publisher"

it's either EA or 2K, most likely EA.

Yeah, WWE used their out clause with THQ instead of letting anyone bid on it.

EA definitely got it, IMO.

Before anyone freaks out, the Def Jam games were pretty good. If they still have the coding for them (or can bring back what's left of AKI), they could put out a pretty awesome game.

I just hope they give us a Universe mode that actually works, or completely revamp it and make it GM Mode again.

What would you know about what EA knows about WWE? EA isn't just "EA Sports", I'm not sure they'd even release a WWE game under the "EA Sports" banner.

and it's not like they are a huge company who will be able to bring in people with the sort of knowledge they need or anything.

I love the Def Jam games. I also heard good things about EA MMA too.

Hold the phone.. 2K Sports may have been the one to get WWE Games.

Here's a tweet from Marcus (he worked for THQ for years in Aubrey's position before leaving to work for the Columbus Blue Jackets after WWE '12).

Marcus Stephenson ‏@stephensonmc
2K and the WWE? VERY interesting...

2K may work with Yukes. They aren't doing THAT well financially, so they may decide to work with another studio instead of creating a game from the ground up. If they sign on with Yukes, they have a game that already sells well. And could make them money this fall even.

If your problem with the WWE franchise at the moment is glitches and bad servers and crap like that then you are going to love 2K

and I love NBA 2K but yeah, 2K Sports = glitches and server problems galore.

all I know about 2K is that their NHL series flopped, although, their PS2 NHL games were better than EA's (when I didn't have a PS3).

I *read* that someone said 2K would be better because they put a lot of attention to detail, but I don't know much else. We'll see, I guess...

All I know about 2k sports is that to throw a pitch in MLB you need to press and hold 3 buttons, while at the same time flicking your controller and spinning it on the table like a penny. Can't see what the People's Elbow will take to execute.

Not nearly as bad as 2K.

I very rarely have server problems playing EA games.

2K servers are okay. Not great but when compared to THQ, they are like a gift from god.

The biggest thing is 2K may bring us a Steam version. Hello mods?
