Sharks @ Stars 4/13/13: Road trip game LINK TO PURCHASE TIX NOW IN THREAD!
As most of you know, I live in Dallas. I'm a member of "DFW Sharks," a Sharks fan club out here. I'm helping organizing a large group of seats for the Sharks game in Dallas on January 19, which is a Saturday. I know it's early, but we wanna do this right.
In fact, our group deal is set with the Stars. We have seats in Section 104, or after we run out of those, 103. Those are where the Sharks shoot twice, of course. Lower level. Tix are $50.00/each and can be purchased now.
Please PM me if you want information on purchasing now as tix can be purchased now and should be purchased ASAP to get better seats (lower rows). I don't want to blast here in case any Stars fans want to infiltrate our section.
The leader of our group works for a major hotel chain and has a deal set up with hotels very close to AAC, and I can set you up with him to get that info as well.
GO SHARKS!!!!!!

I may be interested. My girlfriend and I are planning our road games for next season, but we're pretty limited to just weekend games. If we can get a good deal on airfare to Dallas, we'll definitely join you guys
I'm starting a state job on Monday that might give me a few extra bucks to burn for something like this. I can't commit now but maybe I can a couple months from now.
I was just checking that out ha. Isn't Dallas the hub for one of this big airlines? Seems like you might be able to find a good price based on that.
EDIT: Duh, American Airlines.
American's not great on prices for the most part. Dallas is also the "hub" for Southwest, but they use a different airport in Dallas (Dallas Love Field) that, until 2014, doesn't allow for nonstops between Cali and Dallas. BUT they could compete on price too, if you don't mind a quick stop in Albuquerque, Houston, or Austin or something like that.

Cool, would love to have you PF!! By September I will have an online link that will allow ordering without calling in and I will share here (or PM to you).
Mods: Can you change the thread title on this so it has the date April 13, 2013? Thanks!
This road trip game in which my deposit is still being held by the Stars is now all set for April 13, 2013 (Saturday!) at 7:00pm Central Time.
Again, we'd LOVE to have as many people as possible from Cali or anywhere come down and root on our Sharks against the Stars and all sit together. We'll still be sitting in a corner where the Sharks shoot twice, lower bowl. I think the tix are $50 each.
You can wait for a custom online link that I'll get in a few weeks or so from the Stars, OR just call our Stars Group Tix Manager D'Ann Faught at 214-387-5646 and tell her you want to buy tickets for the Sharks Group on April 13, 2013 (be sure to specify April 13 as opposed to the other Sharks @ Stars game).
Just throwing it out there, don't know now how many people would make such a trip, but we are hoping for a big turnout!

That would be awesome. Too bad I already have too much money tied up into other things this year. I'd love to watch the Sharks dominate in Dallass.
We want this to be a yearly thing (well as long as Sharks and Stars are in same div and there is a Sat game. I suspect once they finally go to 4 conferences, there will only be something like one game in Dallas each year and good luck with that one being on a Saturday).
But look for us on April 13, I'm sure the camera will pan to the group!
im interested in going but at the same time i fimd it hard to give the nhl my money after the lockout. i just moved out to dallas and live in an apartment at north buckner and 30

I hear ya, but take this Stars Group rep we're working with, D'Ann Faught. She has nothing to do with the NHL or NHLPA, but she suffered because of the lockout. Needless to say she was thrilled for hockey and her job when it came back.
For those saying I don't want to give money to the NHL, don't forget that the money you spend also helps pay the wages for people who have NOTHING to do with NHL/NHLPA, but whose jobs depend on NHL hockey, like people working at the arena for games, etc, etc. Just food for thought.
fair point chomp. maybe id be willing to let that be reason enough to go. i really do want to go to games and see hockey but im pissed, and i really would prefer not to see the stars
on a side note what brought you to dallas? im working for dallas rapid transit as a maintenance person started on 1/14 after getting the job through wyotech.
