Mar. 9: Meszaros (shoulder) activated from LTIR

Scott Hartnell:

Quote:
HARTNELL INJURED
Flyers GM Paul Holmgren gave an injury update on Flyers forward Scott Hartnell:

"Scott will be out indefinitely with a left foot injury. We will know more on this within a day or two as we await results of tests."

Flyers left wing Scott Hartnell is out indefinitely with a left foot injury, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.

Hartnell was hit by a shot from the point from defenseman Kimmo Timonen in the third period of Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils in Newark.

"Scott will be out indefinitely with a left foot injury," Holmgren said in a statement. "We will know more on this within a day or two as we await results of tests."

The Flyers' leading goal-scorer last season, Hartnell was absent from practice Wednesday. Danny Briere, who is working his way back from a wrist injury, took his spot on the top line with Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek. Briere, however, won't be back in the lineup until at least the weekend.

Jan. 25:

Quote:
#Flyers say Hartnell had successful foot surgery today and will be out 4-6 weeks.

Andrej Meszaros:

January 27 article: http://articles.philly.com/2013-01-2...n-danny-briere

Quote:
A day after the Flyers earned their first win of the season, the news grew more grim on the injury front.

General manager Paul Holmgren said on Friday that defenseman Andrej Meszaros is expected to miss a month after suffering a left-shoulder injury during Thursday's 2-1 win over the visiting New York Rangers.

Meszaros was hurt when he was hit by Ryan Callahan late in the second period. Veteran Andreas Lilja has been recalled from the Flyers' AHL affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, to replace Meszaros.

Outside of Giroux Hartnell is the next player that this team would hurt losing the most out of our forwards. The guy is the heart and soul on this team and when he is on a line that line usually thrives.

Those bruises are treacherous. How many times have we heard that before and in the end it turns out a fracture?
Can this slow start become worse? Imagine this team withou Hartnell (hurt) and Schenn (suspended.)

Hopefully he won't be out for too long.

So much for turning things around.

You should see our lineup now... like 6-7 4th liners will be playing.
Yay

BTW, I think its Jason Akeson time. He can't play defense but we dont play defense anyway so it doesnt matter. Or Marcel Noebels.

My friend gave me Death for Seth cause I couldn't franking think of anything else to rhyme.
Is it wrong to assume we should have one prepared for Nate since it is Homer after all and he would find a way to take the forward.

It's kind of funny how quickly depth can disappear.
