Bob Gainey built a solid foundation in a competitive Dallas team that won the SC. He is far from the worst GM in NHL history.

Scripted.
Amen. Rooney called every penalty, regardless what end he was at.

FYI--

Krieder had ONE shift in second period lasting 1:27. He had 7 shifts in the first.
Stu Bickel had only 3 shifts total -- All in 1st period lasting 1:23.

Any thoughts as to why?

Pyatt's surprisingly good. He is like a Brandon Prust that chooses to score instead of fight.

Kreider has been pretty bad, I agree with that.

We really need a RHD. We can't run 5 D all season; we learnt that the hard way last playoffs.

Both have played like garbage, hence their low ice time totals.

Why? Why do we need Boyle fighting? Why do we need Boyle wasting his time learning?

fair enough. I've been doing some work while watching so I havn't really noticed

I mean -- I know Bickel is straight up terrible and I can not wait for Sauer to come back but sometimes it's easier to overlook a bad game by a forward. They just disappear.

If you get humiliated in a fight it will effect how you play the whole game. (for some players that is )

Sauer probably won't be back this season. I also wouldn't be surprised if he never plays again.
