Nobody's naming a street after the kid, it's a thread on an online forum.

Of course, it goes without saying he can't keep this pace up. He's not going to score 32 goals in 48 games while dominating physically, hell he'll probably got another game or so like this and then disappear for five or six.. it's the nature of young kids at the NHL level.

And I believe that was the problem in Buffalo. He looked great some games and then did stupid things the next. Way to early for this kind of thread in a season. In three games we could be saying send the bum back down to the farm

BTW

Oilers and Flames are bottom feeders who we should be blowing out 10-0. Canucks have not faced any real teams yet. just teams that should be playing in the AHL

The Eager Job is enough. Everything else is a bonus.

Are you new to these boards? I'm pretty sure every player has had an appreciation thread at some point besides Ballard.

'Eager'... I see what you did there.

Not specifically beat-down related but... sorta speaks to his potential.

At the least Hodgson and Kassian will have similar point totals throughout their career, however, Hodgson will never be able to add the physical aspect that Kassian brings.

Damn.. I already had the pole in the ground...

But seriously, I hated the trade with a passion when it was made. I don't hate it anymore.

Even Ballard. http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1171421 (though it did come at a time when he was playing well)

As long as he is with the Sedins I am happy.

Healthy lineup:

Sedin-Sedin-Kassian
Burrows-Kesler-Booth
Higgins-Lapierre-Hansen
Volpatti-Malhotra-Weise

LOVE IT...hopefully Kassian can silence the doubters about the trade.

Kassian with the Sedins...the mind boggles at the possibilities...a third Sedin with size, strength, hands, hockey sense, and a mean streak...it's like a new dimension open for exploration.

pretty sure i saw henrik throw a hit in the corner near the end of the third. kassian isn't just making space for them, he's rubbing off and getting them involved physically.

can't teach daniel how not to suck at the shootout yet though.

Kid looks like a star in the making. We'll see if he can keep this up.

Goons don't have hands like that.
