Kassian is buzzing out there. Let's hope he can keep this up and play like this consistently. Even if he doesn't score every game (which he won't) if he can play like this he'll become a factor in every game and eventually the goals will come more often than not.

I love that we have 3 very young players on the roster tonight and they are all doing very well. Nice to see.

There ya go... But you are right the flames can do no wrong.

On a side note Schroeder looks too small for the NHL.

Is it just me or is Ballard having one of his best games? Defensively decent. Playing with some confidence and swagger.

Not mistake free, but looks like a different player with Tanev anchoring the pairing.

I know im speculating, it just makes me uneasy.

Ive seen so many players try to switch wings and be nowhere near as effective, add that with how uncommon it is to randomly switch a d to another side and have it work out and how often they dont even bother trying.

I dont know how you can't feel uneasy about it

i admit it might not be the reason just yet but they are really hoping it does. and IMO, have a BIG decision to make if it doesn't

Bieksa has ALWAYS been that off and on player. so any d pairing with him, im not surprised about playing like that

I'd say Hamhuis has been as good, if not better than Garrison tonight. Bieska, on the other hand, has looked sluggish and slow all night. I do agree people default to the right side excuse for Edler too easily.

He's Bertuzzi like at protecting the puck in the corners right now as well. It's gonna be fun watching this kid grow into a star PF.

Often looked decent with Tanev so it's not really a surprise.

Yep he's playing very well. Admittedly, he's getting easy minutes. But a positive sign, definitely.

As compared to the trainwreck BIeksa.

Ballard's been unnoticeable which, imo, is good.
