The Hockey World Turns Over a New Leaf VI

For some reason people want to talk about sporting events more than bargaining sessions. Madness.

I. As The Hockey World Turns
II. As The Hockey World Keeps Turning
III. The Hockey World Has Turned and Left Me Here
IV. The Hockey World Turns the Screws
V. The Hockey World Turns Up the Heat

Have to say I really like this new rule against closing the hand on the puck. You have sticks for a reason.

Backlund ties it up after a nice move by Iginla. Some nice snap shots here from both sides.

Smith apparently injured in Phoenix, Labarbera to the rescue.

Wonder how long he's out.

I feel for their fans. They've gone far too long with a crap team.

Agreed. I have no idea how they get through it season after season.

Well it certainly didn't look too appetizing for them after Nash left.....

Who's their star now, anyways? Just a collective of youth, a "we'll be good later, we swear!" type of team.

They've been saying that ever since the team got there though!

Like I can understand selling your best player and going the rebuild way if they were just horrible since their playoff appearance in 08/09, but they were complete crap before that too.

Good God. Kipper bit hard.

Glencross must score....and he doesn't.

3-2 Vancouver wins.

Great move by Kassian.

He's really acted like he belongs tonight. Canucks took a lot of heat for the Hodgson trade, not looking too bad now.
