Leafs look way more structured under Carlyle than they ever did with Wilson.

Oh thank God... Figured the Leafs would snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Its interesting on Wilson still influences the team in the regard of low penalties. In the same way the Blue Jackets also had the least giveaways, thanks to the days of Hitchcock vs the Caps in a defensive system some how are a giveaway factory.

ROR heading back per trade forum and Bobby Mac said yesterday that Subban will be traded as they're 2 years and 2 mil apart.

ROR was cut by his KHL team (is injured right now too), but MacKenzie doesn't seem to think a deal with COL is close.

If only the Caps games were as good as the LAK-EDM or the SJ-PHX endings. Wow... two great games!

I would not be surprised at all if San Jose won the Cup this year.

If Niemi plays well, they very well could. Thornton and Marleau look like world beaters.

I bet Mr Cherry has a fit about Yakupovs goal celebration tonight. And just to be clear I think there is nothing at all wrong with it dude was pumped and fired up. Wish some of our players would show that fire again

Carolina seems to be turning it up. Seems Semin is choking at fulfilling his role as the cancer.

Ducks got pistol whipped by Canucks. Perhaps we can get Bruce back in April and everyone will be happy.

Remember when Ovechkin and Semin were said to be dividing the locker room? And how everyone wanted Semin gone so Ovechkin could shed the malaise and get back on his game?

Semin's gone, but the malaise is still there.

It's not just there, it's through the roof. Ovechkin is now the sole lightning rod for criticism and has his back against the wall. Backstrom is too Swedish to be criticized and the rest of the forwards, Ribeiro aside, have zero expectations. Back then he could at least kick back with Semin and vent about the rest of the club and management being worthless. Now that's all gone.

Semin's goal today was pretty neat.

Major head shot on Landeskog by Stuart. Sharks announcers calling it clean.

Marleau already at 8 goals and 11 points. Thornton also at 11 points.

Marleau is the second ever player to start the season with four straight 2 goal games. It was last done by Ottawa's Cy Denneny in 1917-18.

If Stuart did that to one of our guys, he'd get a talking to from Laich.
