Two deals for the Penguins and no mention of Tangradi being shipped out.

I think that was from the South Park episode where Cartman's left hand was Jennifer Lopez and every song the hand sang about was about Tacos

Makes sense. Ferriero is having a bad year in the AHL and isn't going to make the Pens NHL roster as a bottom 6 guy ever so flipping him for an AHL scorer since the AHL team is having trouble scoring goals this season makes sense.

Not sure why the Rangers did this. I like Kolarik. Had he not gotten injured last season I think he could have made the NHL. Good hands. Good hockey IQ.

Kolarik is a good player, Rangers should of gave him a shot but I guess they will play Ferreiro now

Kreider sounds like he's going down to the AHL

Benn Ferreiro's had a poor year in WBS, given that he'd performed decently at the NHL level for San Jose I expected him to be close to a point per game at the AHL level but he has 4 goals in 33 games.

I dont get this from Rangers standpoint

Kolarkik is better player overall then Ferriero IMO and a better option to have for emergency callup

I guess NY values the fact that Ferriero are more proven in the NHL (92 games).

I have no idea wich of them are better since ive never seen Kolarik play. But i think the NHL experience were a factor.

Jesus, there really isnt enough trades .... Seeing us trying to analyze minor-league trades like this

Kolarik is 27 (birthday is Thursday) with 6 games of NHL experience. Ferriero is 25 with 92 games of NHL experience.

One is a career AHLer, the other is an NHL tweener.

Always like Ferriero when he played here. Was a good scoring 3rd liner every once in a while. Wish him the best in NYC/Connecticut.

looks like nothing more than a minor-league move. Rangers probably wanted potential NHL depth. Pens wanted a better scorer for the WBS Pens.
