I didn't know where else to post this, but I know Kristian Huselius was a well liked player among Calgary fans so I thought you'd be interested. If anyone missed it, he announced his retirement some days ago due to a hip injury.

Juice was a good Flame and its too bad his injury forced him into retirement. I wish him the best in his new life after hockey.

A ton of talent, biggest problem was always consistency. Kind of felt like Sutter gave him, Cammy, and Tangs the shaft (even Bert to an extent). Wish him and his family the best, he was always a good guy.

Couldn't happen to a better person I hated every second he played for us. I am sad that Huselius had to retire due to injury as he still has the skill to play in nhl just to hurt to continue. I wish we had never let him leave.

The flaw in your logic is that Sloth wouldn't have drafted a Russkie in the first round.

Yup. We still would have ended up with Gormley or someone like Forbort.

Oilers have one upped us again allowing 4 goals in the first 10 minutes against the Sharks we couldn't even do that in our terrible second period

6-1 Sharks after one. Absolutely hilarious.

But I'm sure another first round pick will solve everything.

Yea I checked out their thread the other day and they said we played boring hockey (after a 5-4 loss I don't get it) but if this is exciting hockey for them I will stick to the boring hockey.

I was in the middle of eating my cereal, then I just had a straight face...

I didn't do it, but it is pretty much what ran through my head.

They seem to be taking more time than usual to get back into the swing of things.

^^ Figures. Maybe Feaster doesn't know how bad we are at faceoffs. Maybe he thinks its some silly stat thar has no bearing on the actual game. Or maybe he's secretly an Oilers fan trying to destroy this team by ignoring obvious concerns.

@JSportsnet: JArnott does not pass NYR physical.

Arnott should know better. Maybe being a blubber butt is Ok in other lines of work, it's not OK in hockey. Still, got to give him props for getting 30 points while snacking on Doritos.

I don't think it was because he was out of shape he had knee surgery this offseason and most likely isn't ready to go.

Well if he can't pass a physical were better off not wasting a contract on him. He would be of been a good FO guy and good on the PP which is I why I was interested. Wonder if this it for him?
