Yea I dont get the flack that Backstrom or Ribs is getting at all. As I've said Backs has been decent and Ribs has been exactly as advertised.

Hendricks took a long shift and ended up on the receiving end of a rare great play executed by the 8-19 combination. I don't see how he earned himself a top six spot based off of that. Would rather see Ward or Chimera on the 2nd line than Hendricks. He plays hard, but there are better players to try and compliment Ribeiro. Either Chimera with his speed in transition, or Ward with his ability to win board battles, prolong possessions, and his surprisingly heavy shot. Hendricks has some nice hands every now and then, but I'd rather keep him in a checking role.

GDTs are not optional, whereas practices are.

**** it. I'm gonna make this thread a crappy Canadian img thread. We win when I do this ****.

Since Canadians aren't really a team you can find images of. I'm just gonna post terrible Canadian people.

I can't blame him. He showed he isn't afraid to go to the net, despite his size. He'll be a future Caps killer.

Called the Caps out to the Montreal media. Says he wasn't getting enough ice time and he wants to be traded if it continues. Insulted GMGM.

Finally someone did it.

Two games into a season where out of shape players had 1 week to learn a new system and get in shape. 0-3 is my prediction and I'm OK with it. Give them another 10 days or so and we'll start to find out whether this is a throwaway season or not. No panic yet. Shut up, Perreault.

Perreault is a great player but shouldn't open his mouth in my mind. I applaud him for feeling that way but you don't publicly complain about your boss. Take it into private.

I'm glad someone called him out, but i'm not glad they did it in public. Had to re-phrase myself there.

I really, really wish that people would stop using the lockout as an excuse.

The Jets and Lightning were locked out too.

My guess: just rewarding effort where there was little to be found. A message to others, I suspect, more than an indication of his skill level. Probably plays a couple shifts there total.
