I mean lost the skill he had BEFORE his injury. I made absolutely no reference to the injury or the skill going away after we drafted him.
I actually didn't interpret it wrong... First off, two other people before me took it in the same way, maybe it's your wording? Anyway, before he got injured he was a potential high first round pick then he got injured. He didn't play poorly BEFORE the injury.
What makes you think he lost pure skill he had, that's what's so funny.

Ohhhhh I dunno, how about that massive concussion he suffered? That wouldn't do it?
Bad concussions, from my experience, don't tend to make you lose knowledge or muscle memory.
They may make you hestitate (mental blocks from trauma), or be unable to perform at as high of a level, but they don't magically make you forget how to do things (He would've been tested for that periodically after the injury).
But that's hard to say with a certainty. The brain is too much of a mystery at this point.
