There is no reason why he coulnd't have signed the lease. Your stipualtion that he has to have the sale complete prior to signing is wrong.

She's well aware like most of us are that if a sale isn't finalized before the 31st the chances of the team remaining in Arizona drop to zero. The new seated council would probably not approve an AMF unless it's heavily reduced to ease the burden on them.

Would you sign a 20 year lease for an expensive commercial property without a tenant or any idea what you are going to do with the building? Sure, there's technically no stipulation stopping him. Common sense is.

Maybe there should be a separate thread just for folks who want to post and view pictures of the inside of the Jobing.com during a hockey game. It'd be like a Peep Show.
I think that you are on to something. The all Coyotes attendance thread. People from all over Quebec can congregate and speak of how many more people would be at a Nordiques game. This would be a designated smoking room as well

OK I'm being misunderstood here.

The only reason I posted the fraud prevention measure and quoted the Ottawa Citizen article was to show why teams often broaden their ticket distribution capabalities (beyond Ticket Master) and in doing so thru StubHub reduce the counterfeit possibilities

I don't give a flying **** right now about the attendance numbers or the going rates for tickets at the Job! Attendance and ticket pricing has been pulled, rehashed, recycled, regurgitated, repackaged how many times now over the years and in how many threads? By how many other posters?

And the agreement is only valid once he buys the team. Even once its signed. That's the language in the agreement. That's where the jan 31 deadline comes from.

Oh c'mon Whileee.... it's was discussed in depth a few weeks ago what the AMF process was. I'd hate to think CF and others wasted all that time laying it all out for everyone.

BTW.... you don't think Scruggs wasn't grandstanding for the masses because she got left in the dark by Beasley and his band of Merry Men this time around and was bitter over it. Come to think of it.... why you grandstanding now??

Well Mr. Jamison/his group would have to sign the lease in two places 1) as the arena operator and 2) as the owner of the Coyotes.

Without the purchase of the team, that second signature could not happen as he wouldn't have met a condition of closing.

Slashers posted that teams have formal agreements in place with StubHub. I expounded by listing the teams I knew of that have a partnership with StubHub. More to the point, those that do (the ‘Yotes included) have these formal partnerships so that the purchaser has the download/email & printing of tickets capability and in doing so through this process, minimizes fraudulent/counterfeit tickets.

Upon remembering where I just read that the other day I went back and posted said article.

Hope that finally clarifies my intent

Okay.... I was under the impression that you were confirming another poster's assertion that teams dumped tickets directly onto StubHub.

My bad.

Indeed. Quebec is so civilized that way. Better tell Joe Jackson about that. He's been running from the Cigarette Nazi's for years, having to move first from NYC to Berlin, from Berlin to Madrid, Madrid to... think he's now living in the capital city of Namibia, Windhoek I believe its called. Him & Peter Gabriel. Those Oshiwambo dialects are a real b*t*h to pick up on, but at least you can light up in a bar or wherever.

Yup.

The lease agreement requires three signatures:

1) City of Glendale - check.
2) "The Arena Manager" - check.
3) "The Owner" - ?

The deal can be completed if Jamison purchases the team by January 31, 2013.

Do we have any indication yet who he has recruited as his lead investor with regard to purchasing the Coyotes?
Indications are Tony Leblanc will be his senior money man!

Based on what?? Because he's the only other name mentioned so far that's involved with Jamison?? Or do you have a real source for this assertion???
