Sucks it didn't work out with Ferriero, but best not to keep force-feeding ice time to a guy who looks completely out of his element in the system and had no hope of getting a call-up. Hopefully Kolarik will help WBS's non-existent offense like Ferriero was supposed to.
The Rangers get a guy who is more capable of playing in the NHL if needed and the Penguins get a better player for their AHL team that is struggling to score goals. Pretty fair minor deal.
