Dallas is so different without Steve Ott.

His giveaways and mistakes with puck aren't a result of him playing C

These games have been really fun so far. I love watching hockey without all the game-killing clogging of lanes, slowing the game down, interference BS.

Never understood what Dallas did this offseason. Lost Ribs and Ott and picked up Roy, Jagr, and Whitney. Don't get it.

Yep, IMO moving Ott and Ribs definitely changed the dynamic of this team.

Feel like not capitalizing on 1 of those early chances may bite them in the ass.

Not a 180, he just isn't an NHL caliber 3C, he belongs on the wing.

His attitude and his durability/endurance really impress me. No points yet (don't think he's recorded an assist) but he's still doing great nonetheless.

Also, look at Crawford when there's action beside the net. He has the pad against the post lying horizontally instead of vertically, unlike most goaltenders in the NHL, Emery and Lehtonen included.

I'm interested to see if that makes a difference when they make centering plays from down low.

I like that Kruger lobbed that at the net right there to stop the play.
