I feel like a promotional spokesperson for this product the amount of times I've had to say it.
Download the plug-in called "Stealthy" for Chrome. It will put an icon by your address bar at the top. Click the icon. It will turn green. Now go and open whatever game it is you want to watch. Once game loads, click the stealthy icon again which will shut it off. (Reason for shutting it off is that, admittedly things are slower when it is running, and you only need your IP hidden when opening the game)
If you leave the page you will need to do this process again.
Has anyone else who had a GCL account last year and is letting it auto renew had any luck at all with the service this year?
I emailed them before the season started to check they were auto renewing accounts in Europe as well as N.America and that I'd be able to watch the games from the start of the season and was told all would be okay. So far, I've managed to watch about 4 minutes of action though GCL this year because it doesn't seem to recognise my account, it always tells me to upgrade which shouldn't be an issue if my account has/will auto renew.
I've tried cleaning the cache numerous times (about 20), restarting browser/computer and on the odd occasion, it then recognises my account and lets me watch. For 2 minutes. Then it automatically logs me out and tells me to upgrade again. Most times though it just tells me to upgrade. I've emailled them several times about this and have been waiting 3-4 days for a response but haven't had one and the service still doesn't show signs of working. I'm getting seriously pi**ed off with this. Anyone else out there with this issue? Emailing them has no effect and I can't live chat with them as that is a GCL feature and my account isn't recognised as a GCL account it seems.
For now, I'm just using streams where I can find them but if they are going to take payment for this, it'd be nice if the service, you know, worked at all
I like the Center Ice preview, however they play that same ad "Hockey is back", during every commercial break. Gets irritating after the first 3 times. Also, they have only 5 HD channels, but 13 SD. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Despite those two factors, Center Ice is a good product, and it's nice to watch hockey on a 55'' television. It's beautiful.
Also thinking of getting GameCenter Live whenever the CI free preview ends. How bad is the delay?
Wish I had your provider. Fricking Cogeco has every HD game and a number of SD games blocked. On top of this they won't offer NHL Centre Ice for $49.99. What a joke of a cable provider.
Question: With Gamecenter Live, can you watch full archive *replays* of your local teams games? I know you can't watch local market games live, but was wondering if that was also true for the archived game or not.
