Ya Scrivens was bad tonight and Franson with Liles were horrible. Liles coughed up the puck in the middle quite a few times and Franson cannot handle a pass at all!!!
Top line really didn't work at all tonight. Second line was super inconsistent.
Kostka should probably be on PP2, if at all. Perhaps PP2 w/ Gardiner, perhaps with Kadri/Frattin, perhaps dat Marlies Unit.
Defence made some derpy plays but the goaltending didn't bail them out on them at all. It was kind of like the last two seasons where the team paid for every mistake. Needs to get better than that on Sat and going forward.
Ben Scrivens sucks ass, I never want to see him in a Leafs net again. Even in the two games before tonight he hasn't looked good, I don't know what you guys see in him!

Very sloppy night. I'll write it off to back-to-back nights.
Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Everyone was guilty of this, but worst offenders imo were Gunnarsson, Franson, and Grabovski (the guy has to stop fn around with the puck trying to beat 2-3 guys 2 feet outside our blue line).
The Kessel line needs board/net presence big time. Huge oversight by Carlyle.
Both goalies were meh. Wouldn't have made much difference which one got the start.
Kostka needs to GTFO the PP unit. Constantly stopping the puck before shooting on cross ice passes is killing our PP. Kessel needs to stop wasting time passing to him.
Reimer came in cold in the 3rd period and got scored on in the high slot where a goal scorer like Moulson should score. I wouldn't say he was meh. Stopped 7 of 8 and let in a great shot.
Since it's impossible for the Leafs to merely have a bad game, expect to see the detractors out in force telling us how the team we saw in the other games wasn't the real team but this one was.
Was going to post a joke about the leafs but you leaf fans are more harsher towards your own team. So good game, I guess. And I didn't think the Phanuef hit was that dirty, Tavares turned his back at the wrong time.

Who was on the ice with him at the time? To be honest, the only players I can see standing up for anyone is Grabo and Orr. That's about it really.

It just goes to show you how badly this team needs a legitimate goaltender. Unfortunately now, all the guys rumoured to be in play have been our best players so can you trade them without opening another hole in your lineup? Probably not.
Kadri and Frattin were in beast mode. The rest? Fell asleep. Dion was horrendously bad, Kostka's worst game by far. Just a terrible defensive game and don't get me started on Scrivens.
I hope it was just a back to back factor. Playoffs or Nate. No in the middle anymore
