Alright Fellas, I'm going away on a fishing trip, see y'all in 3 weeks. Hopefully we're .500 by then.

ONLY FOUR GAMES INTO THE SEASON AFTER NO TRAINING CAMP.

That's how I explain this.

But yeah, let's get rid of the guy who helped us to the top of the East last year.

In the end it doesn't really matter. The game ended at 11:53 of the second period.

Team is a joke right now.

Jagr? You mean the guy who set the franchise record for points in a season, and goals in a season?

Get lost.

Nobody else had training camp either. Why is that an excuse exclusive to the Rangers?

I'm a HUGE Torts fan.

Maybe I'm starting to question.

Then again, he really hasn't had much time.

Utilize days off. Practice 'till their skates break.

It's not.

The Kings look awful. The Wings look awful. PLENTY of teams in the league look really bad.

And, once again...it's a 4 game sample size.

At least you guys lost with dignity.

Saturday night should be fun. Both teams should play 5 on 3 for five minutes and swap the roles.

What bridge are the people who diss Jagr and still eff up Stepan's name crawling out from under? New arrivals who saw this team get picked to contend and decided to jump on the wagon?

Hopefully Newbury and Bickel are out with Asham and Kreider back in Saturday. They better beat TO

good thing is no back to back games in the next 3
Bickel only had four shifts all game and Newbs only had one shift after he took that selfish instigator penalty. Don't think we'll be seeing them in the lineup again anytime soon. Newbury will be sent back down.

Who said it was? Quite a few teams not playing fantastic hockey as of yet.

I think because we had to revamp are team identity in a way. we went from gritty (Dubi, Anisamov, Prust) -> Nash. They will find themselves.

I can't wait until we go on a 4 game winning streak so I can overreact and say we're the 80's Oilers.

Though I guess half of you will be there with me.

If conditioning wasn't a problem at this point in the season with the second of back to backs there is no way they lose this game. Yea you don't like to make excuses but they were so tired. That's all it is.

I just don't understand how we sign Jeff Halpern who literally exists to take faceoffs and is pretty much useless outside of the circle, and he's not out there when we absolutely need to win a faceoff. Instead one of the worst faceoff takers in the league is sent out. And I'm not supposed to question the coach?

This team has no identity this season, and that is a problem.

Last year they were the Black and Blueshirts.

This year, they're the "Put us on a 5 on 3, you'll gain momentum, we promise" shirts

Exactly what I was thinking. Torts is going to say "Sorry Chris, but since your teammates sucked you're gonna have to sit again until we get the system right."
