Realistically no. I think Spezza/Milo/Silf line gets it because a goal can get their line going especially for Spezza. The monkey is now off his back and he can use it for confidence and momentum. If the number 1 line can get going then we are going to be ridiculous. To think we've been successful without considerable production from that line.

On that subject, I thought he tried to do way too much with the puck tonight. He's gotta get that in check. And can we not call him Meth?

Jason Spezza pots home the EN and his 1st of the year. The Senators win 3-1 and improve to 3-0-0! Great job boys!!

Not even close to our best effort but we still won. Shows you the talent of this team.

NHL.com not showing any assists on Spezza's goal, even if Silf didn't touch it, SOMEONE passed it to him

Meh. Panthers played like crap tonight. As sloppy as we've seemed at times, they were down right brutal.

Oh thank god, Spezza has never gone 3 games in his career without a goal, he was flirting with suckage, we were about to have to have to trade him.

Methead?

But come on guys the first line was not that bad i though they played pretty well just trying to get the chemistry right and Spezza just need to get use to Silf to find him on the ice with his weird\amazing pass. Spezz always have slow starts

Play of the game for me was that Silfverberg block.

edit: Were not gonna play pretty every game, especially in this shortened season, that was a good road win, cliche but true.

I was thinking the same thing watching him tonight. Tried to be too much like EK. That's not why he's out there with Karlsson. Gotta keep it simple.
